Growing into oneself

Growing into oneself

Acrylic on canvas
60 x 45 x 3.7 cm, 2026
Original work by Triinu Jõhve

Acceptance of oneself
Requires the courage to face every part of one's truth

Honest and sincere with myself
Even when I still seem like a stranger to myself

There is no refuge from my true self
Living a lie is too high a price

I believe I can
I believe I am capable
By accepting myself, I change the world for the better

Opening up and discovering oneself
Acknowledging oneself
And in any case, blessing one's own journey

Sometimes uncomfortable or painful
But acceptance of oneself is, after all, the foundation of everything
