My recovery story
A couple of years ago, something happened to me (Triinu) that, if it hadn't happened to me, I would probably find quite hard to believe.
Seemingly out of nowhere, my knees started hurting one day. Within about a week, the pain grew so intense that even walking up and down stairs became painful. I was a 30-year-old, athletic woman with a healthy lifestyle, who had to hold onto the handrail to walk up stairs, taking each step slowly and placing both feet on each step first. It took several long minutes just to get to my second-floor apartment.
I had never experienced anything like this before, and the pain hadn't been caused by any injury.
It scared me a lot, so I immediately had all my blood work done and booked an appointment with a physiotherapist. The test results were due in a couple of days, and I got an appointment with the physiotherapist for the following week.
Although I felt immense pain in my knees, the feeling of fear regarding how I would cope financially was even greater at that moment.
I took it upon myself to do a thorough tapping session to release my fears and anxiety. I remember that later that same day, when I went to a previously agreed-upon meeting, I moved down the stairs of my second-floor apartment in slow motion and through pain (stairs were the most painful).
The next moment I remembered to think about my knees, I had already arrived home in the evening (up the stairs and inside). The knee pain was gone! I hadn't even thought about it before then. In that moment, I realized that the fear inside me was directly linked to the knee pain. As I released the fear, the knee pain vanished on its own.
For peace of mind, I still went to the physiotherapist appointment a week later, where it turned out that I was completely healthy (by that time, I had no ailments at all).
There's nothing else to do but keep tapping and recommend it to everyone else as well :)
I have been using and learning tapping therapy, or EFT, for several years. I use this simple and powerful technique almost daily to release various tensions, physical ailments, beliefs, and negative emotions. Time and again, I am amazed at what can be released through tapping.
In addition to other techniques, we practice EFT, or tapping therapy, in our weekly online peace-of-mind class. Each time, we deal with a different topic (for example, anxiety, fear, insecurity, feelings of inferiority, etc.). You can find the schedule HERE.
Tapping therapy is also part of the online course program "Journey to Yourself," a yoga course for beginners. You can find the course HERE.
