There was a time about 17 years ago when I was very depressed.

I didn’t see the point.

I didn’t live fully, I existed.

It lasted for a while..

Until I decided that I w a n t to l i v e. For real.

With this decision I took my power back.

Even though I decided it, I still did’t fully process it.

I just didn’t have the tools to do that.

Then the search started, the search for myself.

The desire to get to know more of ME.

And bit by bit I started to process my past, present and future.

I started to explore, and am still exploring, what it means to really live.

I am curious and I want to constantly expand and evolve myself - to live to my fullest potential.

Now I feel, what’s the point otherwise?

It was my choice and it is my choice.

The painting is called ‘From Grayscale to Color’ and it’s a representation of this choice. Choosing to come out of black and white and choose all the colors of live.

Choosing to really live!

It’s an anchor and a reminder to choose this every day.

We never know how much time we have on this planet, let’s make the most of it.
