Gratitude - one way to boost your mood
One way to lift your mood is by feeling gratitude, or in other words, focusing on what I have rather than what I do not have.

Step-by-step:
1) Find a place where you can be undisturbed for a while.
2) Reflect on or write down at least three things you are sincerely grateful for in your life right at this moment. Perhaps you are grateful for your good health, the sunny weather outside, the fact that you have plenty of free time at the moment, or something else.
3) When thinking about the situation or person that triggers feelings of gratitude, try to feel it with your whole body so that the corners of your mouth start to lift upward.
Just like building any muscle, the muscle of contentment and gratitude grows stronger when practiced regularly.

Practicing yoga also helps to increase the skill of feeling and gratitude.
