Yoga pose of the week - Shavasana or final relaxation

Shavasana
.
This week's yoga pose is Shavasana, or final relaxation.
Most yoga classes end exactly this way, with several minutes of relaxed lying on the mat. It provides an opportunity to internalize the practice just completed and to reboot yourself. It is about allowing everything to just be.
Even if you don't have time for a longer yoga practice, it is definitely beneficial to let everything just be for a few minutes at least once a day, thus making room for fresh ideas and greater inner peace.

Relaxation step-by-step:

1. Lie or sit relaxed in a place where you can be undisturbed for a few minutes.

2. Close your eyes.

3. Breathe deeply through your belly. If you wish, you can also exhale through your mouth to relax your jaw and face more.

4. Move your attention through all parts of your body from your feet to the top of your head and relax them one by one. You can mentally give each body part the command "relax".

5. Stay here for 3-5 minutes or as long as your body needs.
