"Yoga has brought me closer to myself. In fact, through the practice of yoga, I have learned to breathe again, to move with the rhythm of breathing and to be in silence. We often breathe very shallowly, this increases anxiety. Deep and peaceful sighing relaxes both body and mind. As anxiety and stress begin to subside, both body and mind become more flexible and calm. This is how I have learned to love and care for myself and those around me. The benefits of yoga may not be tangible. They are inner wisdom and harmony that help you trust life and yourself."
Mariliis has completed Yoga Alliance's 200h Ashtanga Vinyasa coaching training and 100h Yin yoga training. Mariliis teaches Yin yoga and Yin Yang yoga classes.
